This document provides technical details, connection instructions, and parameter settings for the Geze EMD F-9/10 automatic door drive systems.
Connection Overview
- In selection, the moving leaf opens and, if switched on, the fixed leaf follows.
- In selection, the output of the authorized contractor is closed (24 V applied at input).
Tamper Function
The tamper function can be parameterized for Input SI1 or SI2. The tamper contact is usually closed (24 V applied).
-
Parameter
t2: Applied at input. The tamper function can be parameterized for Input SI1 or SI2.
Accessories
- Profile half-cylinder: Mat. No. 090044 (Includes switch housing)
- Profile half-cylinder: Mat. No. 121094 (Additional contact)
- Remote control: Mat. No. 122003
- Ceiling integration kit: Mat. No. 099583
- Rain cover: Mat. No. 099550
Input 51 (Inner Contractor)
The input 51 is active in 2L (2-leaf) and 1L (1-leaf) modes.
- In 2-leaf assemblies, the inner contractor can be connected to the moving leaf control or to the fixed leaf control.
- In selection, the moving leaf opens and, if switched on, the fixed leaf follows.
- In selection, the output of the inner contractor is closed (24 V applied at input 51).
- The sensor for monitoring closing can also be used as an inner contractor. To this end, set the parameter accordingly.
-
Parameter
t1: Can be used to set an activation delay for input 51. This time is added to the activation delay set with parametert2.
Input 52 (Outer Contractor)
The input 52 is active in 2L mode only.
- In 2-leaf assemblies, the outer contractor can be connected to the moving leaf control or to the fixed leaf control.
- In selection, the moving leaf opens and, if switched on, the fixed leaf also opens.
- In selection, the output of the outer contractor is closed (24 V applied at input 52).
- The sensor for monitoring closing can also be used as an outer contractor. To this end, set the parameter accordingly.
-
Parameter
t3: Can be used to set an activation delay for input 52. This time is added to the activation delay set with parametert2.
Movement Detectors (GC 302)
Refer to connection diagrams WC922, WC923, WC924.
The GC 302 is a directionally sensitive radar (microwave) motion detector.
- Installation: Follow the installation instructions provided with the device (Mat. No. 132002).
- Configuration: According to EN 16005.
- Note: Remote control does not work if the hood is fitted (IR not visible).
Stop Function
The stop function is controlled via a pushbutton.
- In 2-leaf assemblies, the door leaf stops (both leaves in 2-leaf assemblies) and remains stopped as long as the input is active.
- The stop button can be connected to the moving leaf control or to the fixed leaf control.
- Set Parameter
42accordingly.
Important Safety Note
Stop must be connected to SI2 for personal protection in accordance with DIN 18650.
To monitor the entrance, a 8.2 kΩ terminating resistor must be connected and Parameter b1 must be set to 02.
Switching Contact Function
This function allows for step-by-step control (Open/Close).
- Set Parameter
b0orb1accordingly. - In activation, the scanner output is closed (24 V is applied to input SI1 or SI2).
- The first momentary contact opens the door, the next one closes the door.
- With Parameter
b0(b1) = 04: The door automatically closes at the end of the hold open time, if it has not been closed beforehand using the pushbutton.
