General Settings
Configure the movement parameters for the door drive.
- Opening Speed
- Adjusts the speed at which the door opens. Range: 0-100%.
- Closing Speed
- Adjusts the speed at which the door closes. Range: 0-100%.
- Latching Action
- Speed in the last few degrees of closing (closed position) to ensure the door latches reliably.
- Hold Open Time
- The duration the door remains open before starting to close automatically. Adjustable.
- Dynamic Hold Open Extension
- Automatically extends the hold open time based on traffic volume or usage.
Door Configuration
Setup for single or double leaf door systems.
- Moving Leaf / Fixed Leaf: Configuration for active and passive leaves in double-door systems.
- Door Coordination: Settings for 1-leaf moving leaf without mechanical door coordination device.
- Single Action Door: Basic setup for standard swing doors.
Operating Modes
The system supports various operating modes selectable via the Program Switch (DPS).
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Automatic (Day) | Door opens automatically on activation and closes after the hold open time. |
| Night | Door is locked (if electromechanical lock is present) and sensors are disabled. Access via authorized key switch only. |
| Shop | Door functions automatically but with reduced opening width or altered timings. |
| Off | Drive motor is deactivated. Door behaves like a manual door closer. |
| Exit Only | One-way traffic; external sensors are disabled. |
Functions
- Push and Go
- If the door is pushed manually, the drive detects the movement and completes the opening cycle automatically.
- Power Assist / Servo
- Reduces the manual force required to open the door.
- Low Energy Operation
- Restricts kinetic energy for safety compliance (DIN 18650 / EN 16005) without safety sensors in some applications.
- Backcheck
- Braking action during opening to prevent the door from slamming into a wall (Wind Stop function).
Input & Output Signals
Configuration of programmable inputs and outputs for integration with building management systems.
Programmable Inputs
- Input SIS/SIO: Safety sensors (Opening/Closing side).
- KB: Contact activation.
- Input 1 / Input 2: Configurable for various triggers (e.g., Interlock, Fire Alarm).
Programmable Outputs
- Door Open: Signal when door is in open position.
- Fault/Alarm: Signal when an error is detected.
- Locked/Unlocked: Feedback on locking status.
- Gong: Activation signal for external chime.
Error Handling & Display
The control unit features a display for status and error codes.
Tip: Error messages can be acknowledged or cleared from the memory locally or via the service terminal (ST 220).
- Display Orientation: Can be rotated 180° for easier reading depending on mounting.
- Service Interval: Prompts for maintenance after a set number of cycles.
- Error Memory: Stores past errors for diagnostics. Can be deleted via the menu.
