11.4 Besam SW300 Inverse Installation with PUSH Arm System
- Remove the microswitch lever (1).
-
Note! Set dip switch
INVto ON for Inverse operation (see section 12.1.1 on page 56). - If higher opening speed is required at power failure, add board 1010374.
Installation Procedure
Follow steps I to XI in the PUSH arm system section (page 36), with the following difference:
- The operator is turned 180° so the "INVERSE" text on the operator is visible.
- Do NOT make step IV and VIII.
Torque Specification Open the door to fully open position. Tighten the adaptor fixing screw to 50 Nm. If necessary, adjust by moving the adaptor one step at a time.
11.5 Besam SW300 Inverse Installation with PULL Arm System
- Remove the microswitch lever (1).
-
Note! Set dip switch
INVto ON for Inverse operation (see section 12.1.1 on page 56).
Installation Procedure
Follow steps I to V in the PULL arm system section (page 43), with the following difference:
- The operator is turned 180° so the "INVERSE" text on the operator is visible.
- Do NOT make step IV.
Torque Specification Open the door in fully open position. Tighten the adaptor fixing screw to 50 Nm. If necessary, adjust by moving the adaptor one step at a time.
11.6 Installation of Coordination Unit on Fire Door Installations
Mount the rotor (parts 1 to 4 below) before the motor is installed on the back plate. Install the control unit when the installation of the coordination unit is completed.
If the coordination unit will be installed on an existing installation, it is possible to move the control unit a little bit to be able to reach the motor unit during installation.
Link rod length formula: Link rod length = Cover length (CL) - 1064 mm
Step-by-Step Installation
- Loosen the screws (1) and remove the clutch cap (2) from the rotor (3).
- Turn the clutch cap (2) depending on PULL or PUSH installation:
- PULL visible for PULL-installation.
- PUSH visible for PUSH-installation.
- Fasten the screws (1).
- Remove plastic cover. Mount the rotor (3) on the motor unit (6) with the screw (4) and washer (5) on the master drive unit.
(Master drive unit = for the door that opens first and closes last).Caution: Pinching Hazard Warning: Risk of hands pinching. Exercise caution during this step. - Release the brake by pushing in the forks so that the brake is opening, before mounting the coordinator base (14) with the two screws (7) on the master drive unit. Remove the screw (8) and mount the acceptor (10) on the adjuster (9). Mount the screw (8) through the acceptor (10).
Adjust the adjuster (9) by turning until the master door stops at 15-18° from fully closed. Close the door by pressing the linkage arm (13).Caution: Pinching Hazard Warning: Risk of hands pinching. Exercise caution during this step. - Mount the link rod with its adaptor (12) into the linkage arm (13).
- Mount on the other side of the link rod (11) to the slave motor unit with the signal (15). Fasten the stop screw (16).
Caution: Pinching Hazard Warning: Risk of hands pinching. Exercise caution during this step.
- Adjust the release of the brake by loosening the joint (17) and turning the link rod (11) close to the master drive unit. Make the angle between the doors near closed position.
Caution: Pinching Hazard Warning: Risk of hands pinching. Exercise caution during this step.
- Adjust the braking torque to >50 Nm measured on the door leaf by turning one or both screws (18).
Caution: Pinching Hazard Warning: Risk of hands pinching. Exercise caution during this step.
- Route the cables, see illustrations on pages 32 and 33.
