Prerequisite: See the "Auto-learn – automatically sets back and latch check" section (page 63) before proceeding.
  1. Push the button once or twice as for auto-setting.
  2. Stop the door at the required back-check position.
  3. The door reverts towards the closed position.
  4. Remove the stop.
  5. Stop the door at the required latch-check position.
  6. The door reverts to learn the fully open position.
  7. Remove the stop.
  8. The door reverts to the closed position.

16.2 Revert to default values for "back-and latch-check" (Level 1)

  1. Disconnect batteries if any.

  3. Press the LEARN BUTTON (LRN) and keep it depressed.
  4. Connect the mains power.
  5. Watch the ERROR LED.
  6. Release the LEARN BUTTON after 1 flash (LED is out).
  7. The BACK CHECK, LATCH CHECK, and OPEN POSITION have now reverted to default values.
  8. Disconnect the mains.
  9. Next time the mains is connected, a new learn is needed to be run, and the operator will use the default values.

16.3 Changing group of parameters (Level 2)

This level allows you to switch between pre-configured groups of parameters affecting power save, battery mode, and lock behavior.

Procedure

  1. Disconnect batteries if any.
  2. Disconnect the mains.
  3. Press the LEARN BUTTON (LRN) and keep it depressed.
  4. Connect the mains.
  5. Watch the ERROR LED.
  6. Release the LEARN BUTTON after 2 flashes (LED is out).
  7. The ERROR LED flashes a number of short flashes that corresponds to the parameter group number. After a short pause, the LED will repeat the group number.
  8. Pushing the LEARN BUTTON once increases the parameter group number. When the highest parameter group number is reached, it will start with number 1 (default) again.
  9. Push the button until you get the requested parameter group. Ensure that the requested group of parameters has been selected by counting the number of flashes.
  10. Disconnect the mains.
  11. Next time the mains is connected, the operator will use the new group of parameters.

Key Parameter Notes

Note 1 - Obstruction Mode: If set to REVERSES WHEN OBSTRUCTED, the operator re-opens when obstructed, similar to a presence impulse.
Note 2 - Double Door Installations: In double door installations, for the secondary door, this parameter will follow the parameter group chosen at the secondary operator, regardless of the primary configuration.
Caution on "Push And Go": Please consider that use of Push And Go together with Common presence detection may cause a stop in traffic flow.
Lock Retry Function: In the default setting, if there is a bind with the strike plate when the door is closing, the door will try to close two extra times in automatic operation (OFF or EXIT mode) and once in manual operation. This function can be switched off (Parameter Group 7). In a double-door application, the secondary door must be configured separately (see Note 2).

16.4 Classification (Level 3)

Use this level to switch between Low Energy (default) and Full Power modes, and ensure compliance with EN 16005.

Procedure

  2. Press and hold LEARN BUTTON while connecting mains.
  3. Release after 3 flashes.
  4. The LED indicates current classification number. Press button to cycle functionality.
  5. Disconnect mains to save.
