Mounting the driver on the roller carriage
-
Mount the driver on the roller carriage using 2 safety screws Inbus M6×10.
Torque: 11 Nm
Example: ISO leaf with double roller carriage
5.8 Mounting the Drive Components
5.8.1 Mounting the module mounts on the left and right
WARNING!
Components that are not secured may fall down. Ensure proper suspension in the track.
- When mounting the module mount, make sure that its entire length is suspended in the track.
- Right side: Position the right module mount so that the driver does not collide with the motor gear unit.
- Left side: Position the left module mount so that the driver does not collide with the locking mechanism or the deflection pulley.
- Install the pre-mounted module carriers left and right with 4 screws each on the track.
Torque: 3.5 Nm
5.8.2 Fitting the tooth belt
- Thread the tooth belt on the motor pulley and deflection pulley. Shorten if necessary.
- Insert toothed belt ends into the toothed belt lock (ensure 3 teeth per side overlap).
- Mount the toothed belt lock with screws on the short driver.
- Note: Do not tighten the screws yet.
5.8.3 Tensioning the Tooth Belt
The tooth belt must be pre-tensioned properly for optimal operation.
Required Tension: 300 N ±35 N
- Undo the 2 screws on the mounting block.
- Slide the motor gear unit to the right by hand.
- Undo the adjustment screw and move the sliding block to allow space for a screwdriver between the sliding block and the motor.
- Tighten the adjustment screw. Torque: 10 Nm
- Push the screwdriver into the gap and lever it until the tooth belt is pre-tensioned.
- Tighten the 2 mounting screws. Torque: 15 Nm
System Adjustments
5.8.4 Setting the closing position for 2-leaf systems
- Push the door leaf to the closed position.
- Fit the second belt lock to the long driver, but do not tighten the screws yet.
- Use the oblong holes to finely adjust the position in the direction of displacement.
- Tighten the screws on both belt locks when the exact closing position has been set.
Torque: 6 Nm
5.8.5 Installing stop buffers
- Undo the setscrews on the stop buffer.
- Slide the moving leaf to the open position.
- Slide the stop buffer on the roller carriages.
- Tighten the setscrews using the Allen key. Torque: 3 Nm
5.8.6 Position the tooth belt locking mechanism (optional)
- Close the moving leaves.
- Loosen the screws at the tooth belt locking mechanism.
- Align the locking device. After mounting, the locking pin must be positioned above the hole in the cover so that the locking mechanism can be locked and unlocked.
- If necessary, enlarge the drill hole on the profile.
- Tighten the screws.
- Adjust the locking guide so that the tooth belt neither touches nor has too much clearance. To do this, loosen 2 screws, move the locking guide, and re-tighten the screws.
Torque: 5 Nm
The driver must not come into contact with the tooth belt locking mechanism during operation.
Check: After the tooth belt has been installed, check (listen for click) the switching points of the indicator switches of the tooth belt locking mechanism. Adjust by bending the actuator levers if necessary.
5.8.7 Installing cable guides
CAUTION
Cables can be cut! Lay cables in such a way that there are no cables near the moving parts.
Fix the cable guide on the module mount and track. Distance to cable guide approx. 200 mm.
Electrical Connections
5.8.8 Connecting transformer and control unit
Note earthing connection! Do not mix up wires!
- Connect the transformer cable with the cable on the transformer.
5.8.9 Connecting the tooth belt locking mechanism (optional)
- Route and plug the cable for the toothed belt locking mechanism into the control unit.
5.8.10 Connecting the ground
- Connect the ground line for single-leaf systems (with extension) from the transformer using the pre-mounted device flat plug.
