A specialized handheld digital assistant device, used as a programming tool, is required to perform advanced settings on the ES 200 opener's control unit. This device, a Palm (PDA), with an automatic service program (ASP), automatically retrieves door parameters when connected to the controller. The Palm offers a wide range of settings and features, including: firmware updates, motor type selection, door weight adjustments, opening acceleration levels, opening speed, deceleration ramp settings, creeping distance, creeping speed, open force limits, and more.

This PDA/Palm is also compatible with other Dorma automatic sliding and curved doors. The menu is available in four languages:
